To access your profile page simply click your name on the top right hand side of the page.
Change Photo and Avatar
To change your photo and avatar click the Change photo and avatar link on your profile page.
On the following screen click the link to add a photo.
After selecting your photo click the Upload & Continue button.
You will then be prompted to crop your photo to the appropriate dimensions by moving and resizing a selection box inside your photo. After you finish cropping your image click the Crop Photo button.
Note: Depending on the uploaded photo you may not be able crop out a good area. A photo can be uploaded to your profile without having to crop by running the profile wizard again from this link. This wizard does not allow cropping so you will need to crop your photo in other software ahead of time. When cropping in other software try to remove any extra space above your head to ensure pictures based off of this one (ex: Browse > People) are rendered correctly. Try to make the top of your head be as close to the top border of the picture as possible.
You will be given the option to make an avatar from your newly uploaded photo. If you click yes to this option you will be prompted to crop the photo to the proper avatar size. Once you are done click the Finish button. You will then be taken back to the change photo and avatar page where you will see your new photo. Up to 4 different photos can be uploaded for your profile.
To change your avatar select one from the default library or upload your own custom avatar by clicking the Add another avatar link.
Much like the photo instructions above you will be prompted to select a file to upload and then crop it to the appropriate dimensions. After completing this process your new avatar will appear in the bottom right of the screenshot shown above. You are only allowed 2 custom avatars. After a custom avatar is uploaded there will be a link to delete it under the avatar icon on this screen. If you have two custom avatars and want to add another you must first delete one of your current custom avatars.
