    Documentation

     

    ADTRAN produces the following types of documents for NetVanta switches:

    • Quick Start Guide - Brief document delivered with the product that provides the following basic information needed for getting started: default settings, instructions for accessing the unit, LED behavior where applicable, and information about additional resources.
    • Hardware Installation Guide - Comprehensive hardware document that provides mounting instructions, compliance and safety information, product features, etc.
    • Feature Matrix - Spreadsheet detailing product specifications.  (AOS Feature Matrix)
    • Command Reference Guide - Comprehensive guide to all ADTRAN Operating System (AOS) commands across all platforms that includes command description, syntax, default values, command history, and usage examples. (AOS Command Reference Guide)
    • Configuration Guide - Feature-specific document that provides feature overviews, configuration steps, and example configurations.

    Default Configuration


    The following list provides links to default configuration files for individual ADTRAN products. These default configurations are provided to allow you a simple and quick method for returning your unit to the default configuration. To restore your system using one of these file:

    1. Select the file from the table that applies to your ADTRAN product.
    2. Download the file to your computer.
    3. Unzip the file.
    4. Upload the configuration to your unit.
