SIPTAPI tsp or third party dialer

I know it isn't officially supported but has anyone had any luck getting http://sourceforge.net/projects/siptapi or something similar working on a NV7100 extension for outbound dialing?

Re: SIPTAPI tsp or third party dialer

Hello 404,

Take a look at AdvaTel's PhoneEasy: http://www.advatel.com.au/content/blogcategory/923/172/

This product is officially supported.

Re: SIPTAPI tsp or third party dialer

Thanks unified,

I looked into the product and spoke with a representative from AdvaTel.  It definitely looks like a good product with a lot to add to a NV7100 attendant position, and AdvaTel appears to be very responsive.  I will have applications for this product, but it really isn't what I am looking for for this application.

404,

What exacly are you looking for in regards to Clk2Dial & TAPI Integration?  (e.g. are you looking for TAPI intgration with some type of CRM system,  or just click to dial functionality from Outlook, Docs, Web Pages, etc.?

Re: SIPTAPI tsp or third party dialer

I'd like to resurrect this thread as I have the same question about CTI and external phone control.

I have setup Microsoft Lync to perform Remote Call Control (RCC) on a Polycom VVX registered to a 7100.  However rather than placing a call from that phone it calls the phone.  I know this isn't a supported product but I'd like to see if it's possible.

While never tested,  it's possible this would work with the right SIP/CSTA (SIP 2.0 Compliant) gateway between the Lync Server and 7100. See the following link for details: Deployment Tasks for Remote Call Control
