R10.8.1.HA.E and 3 digit extensions

Jump to solution

Went through the documentation to set 3 digit extensions on a 7100 with R10.8.1.HA.E and when I do the Stations/IP Phone Globals/Default settings and change the dial plan to NXX for extensions and then "Apply Settings To: New and Existing Configurations" I get a greyed out web page with "Updating Configs, please wait... Updating Polycom config 1 of 1" and then nothing... It never updates the existing configurations. Any fix other than manually editing the files?

Holbor,

No, updating the files manually could cause other issues down the road.  We've actually seen this problem in the past, and often times has something to do with the browser cache, (strangely enough).  That said, clear your browser cache (or use another browser) and make/apply the dial plan changes again via the IP Phone Globals.    If that doesn't work, open a support ticket with our Post Sales support group (because this should be working...)

No Joy on cache clearing.  Same result.  This is with Chrome.

Originally used chrome, but tried IE9 and got nothing.. clicking the apply button in IE results in NOTHING, no response at all.
