I branched this to a new post. The ip address dhcp track <name> command is an optional command that attaches a network monitoring track to the DHCP client. The DHCP gateway route for this client will only reside in the route table while the track is in the pass state. This information can be found in the Configuring Network Monitor in AOS guide, as well as the AOS Version R11.4 Command Reference Guide.
