Replace dual T1 NIM with single T1 NIM

Can I replace a dual T1 NIM with a single T1 NIM without changing the configuration? The first T1 port is the only one in use. The second T1 port is shutdown.

You can no problem as long as you switch them
out while the unit is powered down.
