Need to Add Inbound Calls to New Employee's Phone + need PPM access

I have been trying to locate information for adding a new employee's line to ring when inbound calls come in. The new accountant needs the phone to ring at her desk so she doesn't have to run to answer the neighboring phone 15 feet away. We have a 15 phone system in our office and only 2 phones currently receive inbound calls. Adding the new accountant's phone to receive calls along with the other 2 lines is our goal.

Also, I am trying to access the 'Personal Phone Manager' web interface with my phone's IP address as directed, but cannot.  I have typed the command " http://<ipaddress>/admin " into my web's browser bar but no luck as I keep receiving a "This site cannot be reached" page. I don't know of any other way to access the Personal Phone Manager so we can modify other settings.

Please let me know if anyone can help me with these two items. Thanks.

Teralyn, is the web address you're attempting to use something that worked before? If so, it's possible there's an issue with the PBX wherein the web interface has locked up. Can you try to reboot it after hours? Thanks

Re: Need to Add Inbound Calls to New Employee's Phone + need PPM access

Well the direction of accessing ' http://<ipaddress>/admin ' is what I am having trouble with. Per the Adtran IP712 user guide, typing that address into my web browser is how I should be able to access the Personal Phone Manager. I have not had any luck doing so.   Also, I haven't the slightest clue what the PBX item you're referring to is.

Teralyn, do you mean to say that you're actually typing in the phrase "http://<ipaddress>/admin" into your web browser and not the actual IP address of your system? Assuming the IP was 10.10.10.1, what you type in the browser should be "http://10.10.10.1/" if you're trying to get to the Personal Phone Manager and "http://10.10.10.1/admin" if you were trying to get to the administration portion of the system. You would substitute 10.10.10.1 with whatever the IP address of the system actually is. If you don't know, you should contact whoever administers your network to find out. Thanks

Haha, no, I have been putting in our IP address correctly.. In my previous posts, I typed "http://<ipaddress>/admin" for reference.. I also have been inputting our system's IP address and with no luck I have been having. Is there any OTHER possible way to access the phone manager program??

Teralyn, if the IP address you're putting in used to work, then as I mentioned in my first response, it's possible that the web interface on the unit has locked up, Other than the web interface, there is no way to access the personal phone manager, so I would suggest rebooting the system after hours to see if that restores your access. Thanks
