Event: config dynamicRF txpower

Trying to Track down source for this Event.  It appears the BG radio disabled due to a problem with Signal-to-Ratio (SNR) sum.  This indicates these is a Domain default setting for SNR that is being exceeded.

Re: Event: config dynamicRF txpower

Don,

What setting do you have DynamicRF running in (shown in the AP template)? This message actually may just be missing the power setting as DynamicRF can't disable a radio. What power setting does that AP show on the 2.4Ghz radio?

Thanks,

Evan

Re: Event: config dynamicRF txpower

Don,

I have not seen that message before, but my guess is that it was a erroneous message as I have not seen that happen before (the message show a MAC address of all Zeros). We are actually about to release vWLAN 2.9.0 which changes quite a bit about DynamicRF including dramatically improving the channel selection algorithm. We also will now have Dual mode on all APs which allows continuous to make changes based upon other channels as well.

If you want to follow up on this message directly, I would suggest you open a ticket with us. You can go to www.adtran.com/openacase and follow the instructions. We may be able to look into the message and tell what happened.

Thanks,

Re: Event: config dynamicRF txpower

I zero'ed out the original MAC address: 00:19:92:4d:d6:c0.  The messages all include a valid MAC address of the troubled AP.
