Nevanta 3448 and bluesocket 1800

Jump to solution

Hi,

I'm trying to install a Bluesocket 1800 on a NetVanta 3448 from the web interface.I have no problem to identify the 1800 on the network but I am unable to update the firmware. I get the following error message.

Start Error: Error: No session exists with this AP. Perhaps the MAC address or interface is invalid.

Is there anyone who could give me an idea to fix the problem?

Thank you

Martin

- Thanks for posting your question on the forum!

The Bluesocket 1800 access point cannot be controlled by a NetVanta device. A NetVanta device will only be able to serve as an access controller for NetVanta access points (i.e. NetVanta 150, NetVanta 160).

If possible, could you reply to this post with either a screenshot of the Access Point page from the GUI, or the output to "show dot access-point"?

Thanks,

Noor
