UC client 64bit.

Jump to solution

Hi

Hopefully this is a really easy question to answer. I have a 64bit version of windows office and the UC client complains of an error because of this when installing it.

Once installed I get an error popping up saying

"Either there is no default mail client or the current client cannot fulfill the

messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."

Is this a compatibility issue with 64bit Office?

Cheers

Leighton

I just wanted to update this thread to say that this feature is now officially supported in UC version 5.4.  A link to the download and release notes can be seen from this software announcement:

Thanks,

Matt

Thank you for posting this question.  Unfortunately, Outlook 2010 64 bit is not currently supported in any version of the UC client.

Thanks,
