Sample config for 3430 SBC to communicate with Exchange 2010 UM (SIP TCP)

C
Does anyone have a sample configuration for the 3430 SBC to use with Exchange 2010 UM using SIP TCP protocol?

I am using the 3430 as a Session Border Controller terminating SIP TRUNKS with the Netvanta ECS and would like to be able to intergate the Exchange 2010 UM in the mix.

Thank you for asking this question in the support community.  I'm not certain I follow your question, because I'm not familiar with the ability to utilize Microsoft Exchange over SIP.  However, the guide Configuring a SIP Trunking Gateway for Use with NetVanta ECS was designed to answer any questions you have with this application.  After reviewing the guide, if you have further questions or additional information, I will be happy to help in any way I can.

Re: Sample config for 3430 SBC to communicate with Exchange 2010 UM (SIP TCP)

I have the 3430 working with two (2) different SIP providers. However, those providers are utilizing SIP over UDP. The Exchange 2010 UM uses SIP over TCP. I have set the configurations for TCP traffic on the port, however, when I run DEBUG for SIP traffic on the 3430, I see no attempt at sending traffic. Also on wireshark, there is no traffic between the 3430 and the EXCHANGE 2010 server. I have another system that sends traffic to the EXCHANGE server over SIP/TCP and works with no issue.

When you referenced Microsoft Exchange 2010 using SIP, are you referring to Microsoft Linc?

No (but if you have something on MS Lync I would like to see it). I am referring to Exhcange 2010 speech enabled auto attendant. They use SIP over TCP. I am actually using another "software" solution to integrate at this time, however, this solution has no DSP provisions, so no "ringback" or call progress tones. That is why I would like to use the 3430 for this connection.

When you get a chance, will you please reply with a current copy of the ADTRAN's configuration, as well as a network diagram of what you are attempting to accomplish with this application?  (Please, remember to remove any information that may be sensitive to the organization).

Is the application, the ADTRAN transmits SIP (UDP - ip sip udp) to the SIP servers, and then SIP (TCP - ip sip tcp) to the Microsoft Exchange server.  Where (what destination) does the Microsoft Exchange server send the SIP (TCP) traffic?

Re: Sample config for 3430 SBC to communicate with Exchange 2010 UM (SIP TCP)

I have a config that is mostly working here:  https://supportforums.adtran.com/message/12279#12279

There is a problem however because the Adtran gear does not like the Exchange port redirection as part of the SIP conversation.  If that one item could be fixed then we have full Exchange UM integration.
