    Ethernet cables for MX2800

    jimroma New Member

Am I correct to assume that the Ethernet cables running from an MX2800 into a router are T1 crossover cables? Is that the same thing as an RJ48 patch cable?

      thanks in advance

Just to clarify I have an Adtran 2800 and a Nortel Secure Router 3120 with a MM-8T1E1 card. It seems as if one of the ethernet cables running from the Adtran to the the MM-8T1E1 card has gone bad. My question is, can I use a regular straight through cable or do I need to use some other type of patch cable (crossover or T1 crossover etc)

          thanks
