    HTTP drops or disconnects

    isst New Member

      Hello,

I have noticed our vWLAN HTTP WiFi Controller gets disconnect and our APs end up working but a few hours later, the APs no longer work.

Shouldn't the APs continue to work even if the HTTP of the WiFi Controllers stops responding?

          Freddy,

I would suggest reading through our vWLAN Disaster Recovery Guide as it covers this. There are some things you can do to make sure they continue working. One of the easiest is setting a higher control channel timeout. Once the control channel times out, the APs will reboot and look for vWLAN again. This is, by default, set to 15 minutes.

If you have more questions, please feel free to respond.

          Thanks,

          Evan

So I've made a minor changed on the issue "HTTP3 to HTTP". The "3" is just a number our monitor system/network uses to number items. But we havent' had a drop since the latest update firmware on software controller & AP.
