George, normally that message is a one-time event, so for it to be showing up like that, it likely means your D channel is flapping. In any case, there is no way to alter the frequency of the message other than entering "no event". Thanks
Something is unhappy with the PRI or underlying T1.
- Timing slips? Exactly one side of the T1 should source clock.
- ISDN switch type mismatch.
- Both sides role user or both sides role network.
- Framing/coding mismatch. PRI wants ESF/B8ZS on both sides.
Yep, I understand how PRI clocking, framing, coding...etc. work. I'm lab testing this device and I'm just thinking when we're turning up a new customer and trying to diagnose why the D-channel won't come up, that message is going to be obnoxious. I'll just have to use "no event" since there doesn't seem to be any other way.
Thanks for the input!
