For users that have email forwarding turned on with their voicemail and have it set to delete messages after sending as email attachment, if the mail message fails to send, the voicemail is still deleted. We had a remote location that lost voicemail when their internet connection was down. Is it possible to change the Adtran so that the email is only deleted if the email message is successfully sent?
Andrew, depending on what the mail server is actually sending back to the 7100, that may be a bug. If it's reporting to us that the message was sent successfully, we have no way to distinguish whether it goes any further than the mail server. I would recommend opening a ticket to investigate whether it's an issue with the server or a bug that needs to be addressed. Thanks
